Good Friday morning Dawg fans! Let’s get right to the Dots

Throwback Game of The Week

I turn 27 next Wednesday, and this week I’m thinking about the last coach to make it to the 27 game mark, Chris Petersen! It turns out that his 27th win as the Huskies’ coach was in the 2016 PAC 12 Championship, in which the Huskies absolutely destroyed the will of the Colorado Buffaloes. Despite Jake Browning’s struggles (going 9/24 for 118 yards and 2 scores), he was helped by the 2 headed monster of Myles Gaskin and Lavon Coleman, with both men going over 100 yards on the ground. But the real story was the defense, with the then Freshman Taylor Rapp picking off Sefo Liufau twice, returning one for a pick six. It was an absolute party from the moment it kicked off, and to this day, it remains one of my favorite Husky football games, as the Huskies cruised to their first PAC 12 title since 2000, winning 41-10:

That’s all for today, so thank you for making Dots a part of your morning and as always, Go Dawgs!
