CLEMSON — After 12 practices and one scrimmage, Clemson football is ready for its spring game.

Clemson‘s spring game is March 28 (1 p.m. ET) at Memorial Stadium.

This will be the first time for fans to see Clemson’s 15 freshman midyear enrollees and 10 transfer portal additions. It will also be a chance to see a glimpse of new offensive coordinator Chad Morris‘ offense.

The game will also show key positions, including at quarterback as Christopher Vizzina looks to cement his position as Clemson’s starter in 2026.

The exhibition is returning to its typical split-squad scrimmage, where players and coaches will be split up into two teams. Scoring will return to standardized format, too.

This will be Clemson’s lone dress rehearsal in front of fans before facing LSU and new coach Lane Kiffin in its season opener on Sept. 5 at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

Clemson’s spring game will not air on TV. The only way to watch live is to attend the game at Memorial Stadium. It is free to attend.

According to the school, Clemson will air an hour-long spring football special on ACC Network and Clemson+ later in spring.

Clemson spring football game format changes

Clemson is returning to its typical split-squad scrimmage, where players and coaches will be split up into two teams. Scoring will return to standardized format, too.

The game will include 15-minute quarters with a running clock for the final three quarters (except for two-minute scenarios). There will not be a full halftime.

The team will warm up and do some individual and team work prior to the scrimmage. Team warmup will begin around 12:10 p.m. ET, and individual/team work will begin around 12:20.

Clemson also announced that several healthy players will be in alternate color jerseys to designate them as eligible to play for both teams. Offensive players playing for both teams will be in yellow, and defensive players playing for both teams will be in green. These yellow and green jerseys are not indicative of injury.
