Updated Penn State football Class of 2027 commitment tracker

After a rocky experience with the Class of 2026 recruiting cycle, Penn State gets a chance at a relatively clean slate with the Class of 2027. And there will be a good amount of ground to make up in this recruiting cycle after its last class was hit hard by an in-season coaching change that led to over half of its commits following former head coach James Franklin to Virginia Tech.

We will be keeping tabs on Penn State’s Class of 2027 with an ongoing recruiting tracker to track every commit on the board as well as players who have backed off a commitment to see where they end up. Penn State lost all four of its Class of 2027 commitments in the days following Penn State firing James Franklin, so we will be closely monitoring those players in particular to see where they ultimately go from here.
