At the moment, there might not be a SEC baseball team playing better currently than the Alabama Crimson Tide.
This past weekend, Alabama swept an Auburn team that came into the series ranked within the top five nationally, a span of results which extended the Crimson Tide’s current winning streak to seven-straight. The sweep also meant that Alabama has now won each of their last six SEC games played, as the Crimson Tide previously swept Florida in Tuscaloosa last weekend.
After originally opening SEC play by being swept on the road at Kentucky, Alabama has bounced back nicely since, and as a result, are rising up the conference standings where they now sit among the top.
Here is a look at the SEC’s latest regular season standings, which features a three-way tie atop the conference.
Updated SEC baseball conference standings
- T-1. Mississippi State, Texas, Georgia (7-2)

- T-13. Ole Miss, Tennessee (3-6)
