Notre Dame football is starting to build another impressive recruiting class in the 2027 cycle, and has one of the top groups in 2026.
On Wednesday afternoon the 2027 grew by one, as California safety Khalil Terry picked the Irish over USC and Tennessee. The 6-foot and 185-pound defender is ranked as the No. 198 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite.
Notre Dame was high on Terry due to his versatility, as he can also play cornerback and isn’t afraid to help in the run game. This commit comes directly after he took an unofficial visit last weekend to South Bend following others during the season. The Irish hit a home run, and it looks like this recruiting machine isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
