Tennessee softball ranked top 10 after Ole Miss series loss

Tennessee (30-5, 7-5 SEC) enters its ninth week of the 2026 softball season. The Lady Vols are ranked No. 7 in the NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll.

The Lady Vols will return to action Thursday to open a three-game series against South Carolina at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium.

Game 1 between the Lady Vols and Gamecocks on Thursday is slated for 6 p.m. EDT, while Saturday’s Game 2 is scheduled for 6 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+). A series finale will be contested Saturday (5:30 p.m. EDT, SEC Network).

The NFCA/GoRout Division I Top 25 Coaches Poll is voted on by 31 NCAA Division I head coaches with one representing each of the NCAA’s Division I conferences. Records reflect games contested through Sunday.
