Ever since coming to Oregon, Dan Lanning has set up some impressive recruiting pipelines with the Ducks. However, none may be more impressive than the pipeline that he has created from Alabama to Eugene.
Two recruiting classes ago, the Ducks picked up a commitment from 5-star CB Na’eem Offord, the No. 1-ranked player in Alabama. Last cycle, Oregon signed 5-star DL Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones, again, the top-ranked player in Alabama. Now, Oregon is once again predicted to land the No. 1 player in Alabama in the 2027 class — 4-star cornerback Ai’King Hall.
On3’s Chad Simmons placed a prediction over the weekend for Hall to commit to the Ducks following his visit to Eugene this weekend to check out the Ducks’ spring practices. Hall is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 69 overall player in the class, and the No. 9 CB in the nation.
This recruiting news pairs well with the commitment that Oregon received late last week, when 4-star EDGE Rashad Streets went live on the Pat McAfee Show and committed to the Ducks. Oregon currently has the No. 15 class in the 2027 cycle, but is in a great position for a lot of top-ranked players and could very well land a top-five class for a fourth straight year when all is said and done.
