SEC Media Days schedule is out for Georgia's Kirby Smart, other coaches

College football teams are still winding down spring practices, but the summer spotlight on the conference that boasts “It Just Means More,” is already out with the dates the 16 head coaches will appear at SEC Media Days.

As is usually the case, Georgia football coach Kirby Smart will take the stage on Tuesday of SEC Media Days. That is on July 21.

The four-day event will be held at the Tampa Marriott Water Street and JW Marriott from July 20-23, in Tampa, Fla. The SEC Network will air coverage all week.

The players each school will be sending to Media Days usually is announced days before the event.

Joining Smart on July 21 is new Auburn coach Alex Golesh, South Carolina’s Shane Beamer and Vanderbilt’s Clark Lea.

Smart is the dean of SEC coaches entering his 11th season and his team has won the last two SEC Championships.
