Alabama's top uncommitted recruit names UGA football to top schools

Four-star linebacker recruit Isaac McNeil is down to seven schools, per Rivals’ Hayes Fawcett. At 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, McNeil would be an excellent addition to the Georgia Bulldogs’ 2027 recruiting class as the talented linebacker continues to narrow down his options. 

McNeil’s top seven schools include Alabama, LSU, Florida, Texas A&M, Auburn, Jackson State and Georgia. The four-star recruit is regarded as a top linebacker from the 2027 cycle, as Georgia is a top landing spot for McNeil. The talented recruit was excellent during his time at Vigor High School in Mobile, Alabama. McNeil recorded 92 tackles and nine sacks during his junior season.

McNeil is ranked as the No. 6 linebacker and the No. 87 overall player from the class of 2027, per the 247Sports ranking. He is ranked as the second-best player in Alabama. Alabama’s top recruit, cornerback Ai’King Hall, has already announced his commitment to the Oregon Ducks, so McNeil is the top uncommitted recruit in Alabama.

McNeil would be a massive addition to the Georgia recruiting class. McNeil will more than likely make a decision on his commitment in the future, as Georgia remains firmly in the mix for the talented linebacker. 

Georgia football has the nation’s No. 7 recruiting class in the 2027 cycle. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart have eight commitments, but none at the linebacker position.
