It really is a good team with an amazing quarterback and a ton of great parts, but can LaNorris Sellers finally take his team to a whole other level? If he can, all of a sudden, the season can be pulled out of the fire.
South Carolina is still alive for a bowl if it wins its final three games, and it can take down Coastal Carolina and Clemson at home.
Oh yeah, and it can slug Texas A&M’s dream season in the gut.
The Aggies get Samford up next, so they’re going to get to ten wins. But they’re going for something massive, like the SEC Championship and a top two spot in the CFP.
Win this, and the playoff ticket is all but booked no matter what happens at Texas.

Okay, LaNorris … time to do that future NFL superstar thing.
He only completed 44% of his passes in last year’s game against Texas A&M, but he threw for 244 yards and two scores, ran for over 100 yards and a touchdown, and the Gamecocks won in a rout.
He hasn’t had five seconds of time to breathe all year behind a leaky line, but he’s too good and too overdue not to bust out.
Yeah, Texas A&M’s defense has been amazing, but it doesn’t pick off passes, the secondary was hit hard by Florida, Arkansas, and LSU before getting Missouri’s third-string quarterback, but …
Why Texas A&M Will Win
The South Carolina offensive line … meet the Texas A&M pass rush.
Stanford and Auburn. Those are the only two teams that allowed more sacks this season than South Carolina, and that’s partly because they’ve each played one more game.
Texas and Texas A&M lead most of the nation in sacks by a relative mile. Oklahoma is third – it only managed six sacks in its win over the Gamecocks.
Helped by that pass rush, the Aggies are also No. 1 in the nation in third down stops.

South Carolina is fighting the good fight, and it was up 7-0 on Ole Miss last week, but this bunch seems like it’s a tad fried.
Again, there’s still a shot at a good season with Coastal Carolina and Clemson to finish, but A&M is playing too well.
The Aggies will be a tad too conservative early on, and then it’ll open it up late.
