Michigan football is working diligently to secure Kyle Whittingham's first recruiting class, and now that the new staff has four commitments gained of its own, its sights are being set on other targets.
On Tuesday, the Wolverines secured a pledge from the quarterback of the future, with Salt Lake City (Utah) West four-star Kamden Lopati pledging to the maize and blue. But with him in the fold, the next question is: who will he be throwing to?
Among Michigan's top targets on the board is Chicago (Ill.) Mount Carmel four-star wide receiver Quentin Burrell has been to campus multiple times. Though thought to be a Notre Dame lean (as Lopati was), the Wolverines have done a good job with both the previous staff and the current one, of making Burrell a priority.
On Wednesday, Burrell revealed his top four, and Michigan was included, as was Notre Dame, Missouri, and Arizona State.

The sole prediction for Burrell is to Notre Dame, and it came back in October 2025. He's listed at 6-foot-2, 195 pounds, and is rated highest by ESPN, which has him as the No. 43 player in the country, regardless of position, and the ninth-best wide receiver.
