The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to four-star quarterback recruit Kaden Craft, who is a member of the class of 2028. Craft recently checked out the University of Georgia and is a rising junior in high school.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback plays high school football for Lake Norman High School in Mooresville, North Carolina, which is just north of Charlotte. Craft is ranked as 247Sports’ No. 76 recruit in the 2028 cycle. The talented passer is the No. 6 quarterback nationally and the fifth-best prospect in North Carolina.
Craft is a versatile athlete that also plays basketball and runs track. He’s coming off a promising sophomore season where he posted 1,739 passing yards and 387 rushing yards. Craft finished the year with 30 total touchdowns and just four interceptions.
The Lake Norman standout is a rising star in the recruiting world. Craft has recently received scholarship offers from LSU, Florida, Miami and Ole Miss. The four-star has gone on recent visits with South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
On tape, Craft displays a strong arm with good mobility. He’s a good athlete and it is easy to see why he has so many top college football programs interested in him. Craft has elusiveness and the ability to extend plays. He’s a threat to scramble when plays break down.
“After a great conversation with coach Mike Bobo, I am honored and thankful to receive an offer from Georgia football!” Craft said via social media.
Craft becomes another name to watch at quarterback for Georgia in the 2028 cycle. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart already have a commitment from five-star 2028 quarterback Jayden Wade, who could either reclassify or decommit from Georgia, so the Dawgs are keeping their options open.
