Four-star WR down to Texas, Texas Tech, Oregon will announce May 9

Four-star 2027 wide receiver Julian Caldwell is one of the best players in his class. One of the top 100 players in the nation, Caldwell has narrowed his college choices to three. He will make his announcement on May 9th.

Caldwell's decision comes down to the Texas Longhorns, the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the Oregon Ducks. All three have high-powered offenses that utilize multiple sets and formations.

Caldwell is the No. 15 wide receiver and No. 89 player nationally, per 247 Sports Composite. He's the No. 11 player in the state of Texas. The 6-foot, 185-pounder has visits scheduled to all three of his finalists, first heading to Texas Tech (June 5), then Texas (June 12) and finally Oregon (June 19).

Caldwell had a huge junior season at Argyle High School in Texas, totaling 94 catches for 1,737 yards and 20 touchdowns. He distinguished himself and is considered arguably the top wide receiver in Texas.

Caldwell has also received offers from programs like SMU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Texas A&M, USC, Georgia, Miami, LSU, Florida, BYU, Florida State, Missouri, Illinois and Oklahoma among many others.
