The Bengals are, obviously, set at quarterback going into 2026. They have Joe Burrow, and Joe Flacco for a good insurance policy.
So is it even remotely possible they spend a draft pick on a quarterback?
Rutgers quarterback Athan Kaliakmanis is going to visit the Bengals on Wednesday. They’re one of many teams Kaliakmanis is visiting with this week, and he’s already had a formal with the Bengals.
Throwing for nearly 6,000 yards in his two seasons at Rutgers, following two seasons at Minnesota, Kaliakmanis also threw for 38 touchdowns to just 14 interceptions in his last two seasons of college football. He was a team captain in both seasons at Rutgers, and this past season was on the Watch List for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.
Originally from Antioch, Illinois, Kaliakmanis was named the Gatorade Player of the Year in Illinois in 2021. 247Sports had him as the No. 2 prospect in Illinois and a four-star prospect, while Rivals had him as the No. 16 quarterback in the nation.
