The Washington Huskies have put themselves in a strong position with several of their top targets along the offensive line in the 2027 class, but that hasn't stopped Jedd Fisch and offensive line coach Michael Switzer from pursuing more.
The Huskies are set to host three-star offensive lineman Tristan Dare, a former Michigan commit, for an unofficial visit over the weekend. The 6-foot-3, 290-pound product of Southlake Carroll High School in Texas originally committed to coach Sherrone Moore and the Wolverines in August 2025, before backing off in late March.
Now, Dare, who is ranked as the No. 46 interior offensive lineman and No. 756 overall player in the 2027 class and holds 34 offers, appears to be considering all his options. Arizona State, Florida, Ole Miss, Penn State, Texas Tech, and Wisconsin are all among the interested parties, and he recently took an unofficial visit to Missouri to check in on what coach Eli Drinkwitz is building.

On film, Dare looks like a proficient run blocker with good play strength who can run the zone scheme that Fisch likes to call. However, with his height and ability to win with leverage, he projects as a center at the next level as the Huskies continue to hunt for their first offensive line pledge in the 2027 class.
Washington is continuing to make a push for three-star center Reis Russell, who is set to take an official visit to Georgia on April 17. He also has lined up trips to USC for May 29, a late addition to his list of top schools, and Miami on June 5, before a trip to Montlake on June 19.
If the Huskies can make a strong impression on Dare over the weekend, there's a good chance he lines up a return trip to Seattle for an official visit over the summer.
