A person parachuting into Virginia Tech's Saturday spring football game accidentally got stuck on the scoreboard in a botched landing attempt.
The terrifying video shows windy conditions blowing this parachuter into the Lane Stadium scoreboard, where they were stuck until they were rescued by emergency personnel in a crane.
Thankfully, the parachuter was secure and in stable condition after the collision, per Virginia Tech. This could have been a disaster, so this bizarre scene at least has a happy ending.
We cannot fathom being in a parachute and landing on a football stadium scoreboard. Heck, we can't even fathom being in a parachute period. How scary.
First parachuter of the day came in hot, landing on the field pretty steep. Looking at the flags, there's a decent wind out there. They're lifting a crane from the road behind the stadium to get him. #Hokieshttps://t.co/eOpAvNCJUA
