The Colorado Buffaloes are turning up their pursuit of several 2027 prospects, including the top linebacker from Pennsylvania.
On Tuesday, the Buffs extended an offer to 2027 three-star linebacker Zykee Scott out of Philadelphia. Scott holds 15 offers from a variety of Power Four programs, including Michigan State, Tennessee, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Oregon and Nebraska.
Scott ranks as the No. 497 overall player in the 2027 class, the No. 39 linebacker and the No. 15 player from Pennsylvania.
Director of Recruiting Rashad Rich recently visited Scott in Pennsylvania, and the linebacker posted a photo on social media saying he will be visiting Boulder this summer.
After a great conversation with @shadrich80 I’m blessed to receive an offer from The University of Colorado !! 🖤🖤Can’t wait to get to campus in the summer !! #Skobuffs🦬 @LaSalleFball@BrettGordonLSHSpic.twitter.com/y5QW6yQyWG

Scott has already taken official visits to Pitt, North Carolina, West Virginia, Georgia Tech, Michigan State and Tennessee. Colorado is coming in fairly late to his recruitment, but Scott seems to be giving the program a fair chance to impress him this summer.
Currently, CU's 2027 class has only two commitments: four-star quarterback Andre Adams and three-star defensive back Devon Dericho.
