OU football injury update: Sooners DB Gentry Williams doubtful vs Alabama

NORMAN — Oklahoma defensive back Gentry Williams was a new addition to the SEC availability report released Thursday.

Williams went from being not included on the report Wednesday, meaning he was available, to being listed as doubtful on Thursday.

The other change to the Sooners' report was offensive lineman Derek Simmons was removed, meaning he's available.

Defensive linemen Jayden Jackson and R Mason Thomas were still listed as questionable, while wide receiver Keontez Lewis and linebacker Kobie McKinzie were still listed as probable.

Two Alabama defensive starters — DaShawn Jones and Qua Russaw — were sill listed on the report.
