Indiana pulled off some of its own tricks in the amazing finish against Penn State. Win this, take out Purdue a few weeks later, and it’s off to the Big Ten Championship with a shot at the CFP No. 1 spot.

Why Wisconsin Will Win
The defense was playing well before the win over Washington, and then it put together a killer, allowing just 250 yards.
The pass rush isn’t bad, the run defense is holding up fine, and it’s doing it all without the help of any semblance of production from the other side of the ball to take the pressure off.
To have any prayer of staying alive, the offense has to slow things down to a dead stop.

Why Indiana Will Win
UMass.
The worst team in college football is dead last in the nation in total offense, coming up with just 246 yards per game. Wisconsin is the second-worst, averaging 256 yards every time out.
Sean West led the Badgers in passing last week against Washington with 24 yards. He’s the punter.
The Wisconsin running game wasn’t bad against the Huskies. There weren’t any big, gashing runs, but it was effective. That ground game isn’t going anywhere in this.
The Hoosier defense gave up two rushing touchdowns against Penn State, and that’s been about it in Big Ten play.

Fernando Mendoza won’t put up Heisman numbers, because he won’t have to.
The Hoosiers will mix it up a little bit, punt, and take the field position wins when they’re able to, and everything will revolve around making Wisconsin show that it can go on a meaningful scoring drive.
It’s not like Indiana will be conservative, but it’ll get up fast, put the hammer down, and then go on methodical second half scoring drives in the easy win.
