How to watch Delaware vs. Sam Houston in Conference USA football Nov. 15

Sam Houston has not won a Conference USA football game this year after contending for the league title in 2024, its second FBS-level season.

Delaware has likely surprised some by starting out 3-3 in its inaugural CUSA endeavor.

After two lopsided road losses, the Blue Hens will take nothing for granted in their Nov. 15 bout with the Bearkats.

“Every team is great in this conference,” UD wide receiver Sean Wilson said. “Every team can put up a fight against anybody, as we saw Oregon State vs. Sam Houston. We’re just coming into this game just like any other game. Prepared. Ready.”

Delaware receiver Sean Wilson makes a catch in front of UConn's D'Mon Brinson in the first quarter at Delaware Stadium, Sept. 13, 2025. Delaware won in overtime, 44-41.

Kickoff is at 7 p.m. at Shell Energy Stadium in Houston, which is the Bearkats’ temporary home while its on-campus stadium more than an hour away in Huntsville is being renovated.

Shell Energy Stadium is home field for the MLS Dynamo and NWSL Dash and hosts an international soccer friendly between Venezuela and Australia the night of Nov. 14.

Delaware (5-4) is one win from bowl eligibility. However, due to NCAA rules for teams transitioning from FCS, the Blue Hens can not go to a bowl unless there are not enough qualified teams.

Sam Houston (1-8) is coming off its first win of the season 21-17 at Oregon State,

“What we’re good at here is worrying about the game that’s currently going to happen. And I’ll worry about six wins when it’s because we go 1-0 on Saturday night and then we’ll talk about how many wins we have. I do think if you’re worried about that’s your goal of getting six wins, you’re going to run the risk of falling off a cliff after that six wins because all the things that you did to lead up to that were about that, not about getting better, not about growth, not about production, not about development.’’

“Defensively, they [the Hens] are an absolute headache schematically. You name it, you’re gonna see it . . . I think they’re feeling it on offense right now so we have our hands full on defense.”
