The Georgia Bulldogs could get a blue-chip recruit from the class of 2027. Four-star safety Kailib Dillard will announce his commitment on Tuesday, May 5, according to Rivals. Dillard will decide among Georgia, the Florida Gators, and the Oregon Ducks.

Dillard stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 170 pounds. He plays high school football for the Jenks Trojans out of Jenks, Oklahoma, alongside three-star commits Odaefe Oruru OT, Arkansas), Kaydin Jones (RB, Oklahoma State), and Ryley Kesler (IOL, Tulsa).

Dilliard, meanwhile, is the No. 79 safety prospect and No. 734 overall prospect in the nation. On3’s prediction model has him going to the Florida Gators.

That would add to the No. 7 class in the nation. The Gators earned major commits from five-star IOL Maxwell Hiller and four-star quarterback Davin Davidson, who the Bulldogs also showed interest in.

Georgia, on the other hand, has the No. 8 class in the nation. Despite getting five-star running back Kemon Spell and five-star cornerback Donte Wright, the Bulldogs haven’t earned a commitment since April 4, 2026. They need a hot streak, similar to what happened after quarterback Jared Curtis committed to Georgia, before flipping to Vanderbilt. That didn’t happen with five-star Kemon Spell committing.
