Quarterback

Ole Miss senior Trinidad Chambliss has averaged 338.7 total yards of offense per game in his eight starts this season, a mark that would rank first nationally had he started the Rebels’ first two games. Chambliss has 13 passing touchdowns with just two interceptions and has six rushing scores. Florida’s DJ Lagway entered the season with lofty expectations but has struggled at times with 11 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.

Rebels sophomore Kewan Lacy is second in the SEC with 912 rushing yards and leads the nation with 16 rushing touchdowns. His 91.2 rushing yards per game is third in the conference. Florida’s Jaden Baugh has 747 yards and five touchdowns; he has also caught 27 passes.

Wide receivers/tight ends

Florida’s receiving corps took a hit when it was announced that Eugene Wilson III would miss the remainder of the season; he is tied for second on the team with 27 receptions. Freshman Vernell Brown III leads the Gators with 473 receiving yards. Ole Miss senior Harrison Wallace III leads the Rebels with 579 receiving yards. Four different Ole Miss players have at least 400 receiving yards.

Offensive line

The Rebels are 17th nationally with 1.10 sacks allowed per game (11 total), and Ole Miss’ 489.4 yards of offense per game is fourth in the FBS. Florida has surrendered 15 sacks this season and averages 341 yards per game, good for 106th nationally.

Defensive line

Florida is tied for second-to-last in the SEC with 16 sacks. The Rebels have notched 21 sacks this season, led by edge rusher Princewill Umanmielen’s 4.5. Sophomores Will Echoles and Kam Franklin each have 3.5 sacks. The Gators allow about 11 yards less per game on the ground (132.8 to 143.6).
