SEC Coaches Ranked by career wins

The SEC is home to some of the best coaches in college football. National champions, conference championships, and College Football Playoff appearances galore. Six schools have a new head coach this season, three of whom came from the Group of Six to the SEC, one who is on his fifth head coaching stop, one who has a few games under his belt, and one who will make his head coaching debut in 2026.
Alex Golesh, Ryan Silverfield, and Ryan Sumrall made the jump to the SEC after success in the AAC, while Will Stein’s run as an offensive coordinator at Oregon gave him the opportunity at his first head coaching job. Lane Kiffin had a nice run at Ole Miss, but it wasn’t enough, so he left for LSU. Taking over in his wake is Pete Golding, who navigated the Rebels to a pair of College Football Playoff wins before a back-and-forth last-second loss to Miami.
