Alabama football Week 12 opponent preview: Oklahoma Sooners

On Saturday night, the Alabama Crimson Tide will host what is simply a massive Week 12 game against the visiting Oklahoma Sooners inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa.

Two of college football’s top teams, Alabama comes into Saturday ranked as the nation’s No. 4 overall team, per the latest US LBM Coaches Poll, while Oklahoma is not far behind at No. 10. Both are also firmly in contention to make the College Football Playoff in the coming weeks, attaching high stakes to this contest, especially for Oklahoma.

The Sooners come to Tuscaloosa already with two losses this season, and a third defeat to the Crimson Tide would certainly hurt those chances to make the CFP. However, Oklahoma is a team certainly capable of defeating Alabama in Tuscaloosa, making this a dangerous matchup for the Crimson Tide.

Following is everything you need to know about the 2025 Oklahoma Sooners ahead of their Week 12 matchup with Alabama.
