Details surrounding Alabama football's 2026 season opener vs. East Carolina has officially been revealed.
Announced by the program Tuesday afternoon, Alabama vs. East Carolina will officially kickoff at 11 a.m. CT during Week 1 of the 2026 season. The game will take place Saturday, Sept. 5, from inside Saban Field at Bryant-Denny Stadium in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and will also be broadcast live on ABC.
Alabama's season opener is also the first-of-three scheduled SEC games on ABC that day, followed by Auburn vs. Baylor at 2:30 p.m. CT, as well as LSU vs. Clemson at 6:30 p.m. CT. ESPN's "College GameDay" also revealed the show would visit Baton Rouge for the LSU-Clemson game during Week 1.
Kickoff times, as well as TV channels, for remaining games on Alabama's 2026 schedule are set to be announced at a later date.
