STILLWATER — It appears Noah McKinney’s time with the Oklahoma State football team has run out.
The redshirt junior offensive guard, who entered the transfer portal last month but remained with the team, signed with TCU on Thursday, according to multiple online reports. As a result, the 6-foot-4, 330-pound McKinney is no longer a part of the OSU team, as initially reported by Pokes Report.
McKinney started the first six games of the season, but missed two because of injury and came off the bench in another.
Redshirt sophomore JaKobe Sanders has started in his place, and likely will continue to do so when the Cowboys host Kansas State at 11 a.m. Saturday at Boone Pickens Stadium.
Based on Oklahoma State’s availability report, it looks like quarterback Hauss Hejny’s return isn’t coming this week.
The redshirt freshman who hasn’t played since breaking his foot in the first quarter of the season opener, was listed as out on the injury report submitted to the Big 12.
Cornerback Kale Smith was also listed as out for the game, while tight end Quinton Stewart is questionable.
