MSU football offers highly-coveted 2028 Minnesota LB prospect

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a 2028 linebacker prospect that is already picking up a ton of interest at the power four level.

Brodie Metzger of Hills, Minn. announced on Friday that he's picked up an offer from Michigan State. According to a post on his personal social media X account, he received the offer from the Spartans following a conversation with head coach Pat Fitzgerald.

Metzger is listed a linebacker for Hills-beaver Creek Secondary. According to 247Sports, he is listed at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds. He is still unranked and unrated on 247Sports.

Michigan State joins an actively growing list of schools that are interested in Metzger. According to 247Sports, he holds other offers from Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota, Penn State and South Dakota State.
