Class of 2024: Composite 3-star recruit, No. 105 interior offensive lineman per 247Sports

Brock Riker originally committed to Texas State out of high school in the Class of 2024. The Texas native was a three-star recruit coming out of high school and signed with the Bobcats over a handful of offers from some Group of Five programs and FCS options in Texas. Riker entered the transfer portal in December 2025 and committed to Penn State in January 2026.

Career Stats

Riker started 12 games at center for Texas State in 2025 and allowed zero sacks. Riker played in four games as a true freshman in 2024 for the Bobcats. Riker was named a second-team Freshman All-American by The Athletic in 2025.

Depth Chart Overview

There is a very good chance that Brock Riker will step right into a key role on the offensive line for Penn State. Riker is the leading candidate for the starting job in the middle of the line following a stellar season in 2025 with Texas State. That will likely mean Dominic Rulli will be the top backup at the center position this fall.
