2026 defensive lineman Bennett Spillman, 6-foot-2/270 pounds, has committed to Eastern Kentucky, according to recruiting analyst Shayne Pickering.
Bennett is the younger brother of Vols redshirt sophomore linebacker Edwin Spillman, who totaled 81 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and one interception while playing in an expanded role at Tennessee last season.
The younger Spillman will play for head coach Walt Wells at Eastern Kentucky.
Wells, who has been the head coach at Eastern Kentucky since 2020, is a Nashville native who served as an assistant on Tennessee’s staff under Butch Jones for two seasons (Wells was a quality control assistant in 2016 before getting promoted to offensive line coach in 2017).
