A national college football analyst made a big-time prediction for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs this week, and it may not be long before it comes to fruition for the program.

A national college football analyst made a big-time prediction for Kirby Smart and the Georgia Bulldogs this week.

Actually, a pair of national analysts made a big prediction for Georgia.

On3’s Chad Simmons and Steve Wiltfong predicted this week that Georgia will land 2026 four-star safety Adryan Cole.

Cole, 6-foot-2/190 pounds from Atlanta, GA, is rated in 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 15 safety in the nation and the No. 19 player in the state of Georgia.

Adryan Cole is coming off a strong visit to Georgia

Part of the reason Simmons and Wiltfong made the prediction for Cole is because the four-star recruit is coming off a positive visit to Georgia.

"The energy around the program stood out," said Cole to On3 after visiting Athens this past weekend. "You could tell how much pride people have in the school and the football program.”

Simmons noted that Cole plans to take more visits, but the Bulldogs are now “firmly” out in front in this recruiting battle.

“Cole still plans to continue taking visits and working through the recruiting process, but Georgia now firmly sits in pole position,” wrote Simmons. “Following the weekend, Steve Wiltfong and I have logged a prediction for the Bulldogs on the Rivals Recruiting Prediction Machine.”

Cole is planning to announce his commitment on July 18.

Florida, LSU, and Ole Miss are among the programs hoping to swipe Cole out of Georgia’s backyard.
