The Washington Huskies pulled off one of their most hotly contested recruiting victories of the 2027 class in March when four-star running back Jeremy Adeyanju announced his commitment to Jedd Fisch's coaching staff.
The 6-foot, 215-pound product of Sandra Day O'Connor High School in Arizona picked the Huskies over 18 other offers, with the USC Trojans also making a significant run after his services, but running backs coach Scottie Graham and the Huskies were able to win the battle after a major push following extending an offer to him in late January.
Ranked as the No. 192 overall prospect and No. 14 running back in the 2027 class by Rivals, Adeyanju has experienced a major rise throughout the offseason and during the contact period following spring practice, Graham took a trip to Arizona to check on the promising ball carrier.

During his junior year, Adeyanju racked up 1,167 yards and 15 touchdowns on the ground, while adding 9 catches for 54 yards and a score through the air, displaying a skill set that quickly made him a coveted prospect around the country.
With a frame that looks ready for the rigors of the Big Ten, along with surprising speed and explosiveness for his size that is on display frequently in the open field on his film, where he'll erase angles from oncoming defenders quickly, Adeyanju looks like a promising addition to one of the top recruiting classes in the country, which is currently ranked No. 13 by 247Sports.
Adeyanju is set to take his official visit to UW on May 29.
