Colorado football is coming off a huge recruiting weekend, during which several 2027 and 2028 recruits took visits to Boulder.

One of those players was four-star offensive tackle Li'Marcus Jones. Jones is a top-350 2027 prospect with 247Sports Composite ranking him as the No. 332 overall player, the No. 33 offensive tackle and the No. 13 player from his home state of Tennessee.

Following his visit over the weekend, Jones announced his finalists with Colorado joining Purdue and Mississippi State as the three programs vying for Jones' commitment.

The Brentwood Academy product was originally committed to Ole Miss, but with Lane Kiffin leaving for LSU, the Rebels are completely out of the picture. Colorado and Deion Sanders are certainly making a significant late run for Jones, who seems like the future left tackle for the Buffaloes if they can land the commitment.

Colorado has just three class of 2027 commitments so far, but that includes a commitment from four-star quarterback Andre Adams.
