Nebraska football received a prediction in its favor for class of 2027 three-star offensive lineman KD Jones. A prediction was put in by Rivals' Tim Verghese on Friday afternoon.
Jones is the 83rd overall player in his class from the state of Georgia, according to the Rivals Industry Rankings. That being said, he has a stellar offer sheet from Georgia, Auburn, South Carolina, and UCLA, all of which have extended scholarships.
On the Nebraska front, he is being recruited by offensive line coach Geep Wade, who is his primary recruiter. Assistant offensive line coach/run game coordinator Lonnie Teasley has served as a secondary recruiter.
The lineman has visited Nebraska once before, doing so on May 6th. He is also scheduled to take an official visit to Nebraska on June 5. He measures in at six-foot-four, 268 pounds.
Currently, the 2027 class ranks 17th overall in the country according to the Rivals Team Rankings. The class has eight commitments in total, including four blue-chip commitments. Jones would be another solid get for the program.
A commitment from Jones could prove important, especially as Barrett Kittrell generates interest from major programs. It will certainly be interesting to see how both commitments play out.
