The Colorado Buffaloes hosted three-star edge Ba'Roc Willis on an official visit over the weekend, and he has now joined their 2027 recruiting class. Willis committed to Deion Sanders' program on Tuesday, becoming their fourth commitment.

Willis, who is from Moody, Alabama, was previously committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide before reopening his recruitment in January of 2025. Colorado entered the picture in September with a scholarship offer and sealed the deal on his official visit. He was scheduled to officially visit the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, but it is unclear if that will happen now that he has committed to Colorado.

He is ranked as the No. 518 overall player and No. 49 edge in the Rivals industry ranking. He is also the No. 21 player from Alabama.

Willis had a monster junior season at Moody High School, helping lead them to a 13-2 record. He recorded 125 tackles, 23.0 tackles for loss, 9.0 sacks, 26 quarterback hurries, and two fumble recoveries. In the two prior seasons, he made 174 tackles, 40.5 tackles for loss, 26 sacks, 58 quarterback hurries, and five forced fumbles.

He is the third defensive player that Colorado has landed this cycle, with four-star quarterback Andre Adams being the only offensive player. Willis joins three-star cornerback Davon Dericho and three-star defensive lineman Kenny Fairley. The class is ranked 45th-best in the country and 6th-best in the Big 12 by Rivals.
