The Georgia Bulldogs have seven commitments and the No. 30 ranked recruiting class in the 2027 cycle. The Bulldogs and coach Kirby Smart could be about to land their next big commitment.

On3’s Chad Simmons (subscription required) predicts that four-star safety recruit Adryan Cole will commit to Georgia. Cole would become Georgia’s only defensive back commitment in the 2027 class.

Cole plays high school football for Douglas County in Douglasville, Georgia. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound safety is ranked as the No. 191 recruit in the country. Cole is the No. 16 safety nationally and the No. 21 recruit in Georgia.

Cole along with numerous other elite recruits visited Georgia for the Bulldogs’ annual scavenger hunt, which is one of Georgia’s biggest recruiting weekends of the year. The Douglas County star is scheduled to announce his commitment on July 18. Cole will decide among Georgia, Ohio State, LSU, Auburn, Miami, Florida and Ole Miss.

Cole has frequently visited Georgia and has official visits set up with LSU, Ole Miss, Florida and Georgia. The four-star is slated to return to Athens on June 12.

Georgia still has a long way to go in the 2027 recruiting cycle, but the Dawgs need to stack together a few commitments this May and June as Georgia hosts top recruits for official visits.
