Star quarterback Nico Iamaleava will miss UCLA’s game against Ohio State on Saturday, Nov. 15, according to multiple reports.
Iamaleava, who has appeared on the Big Ten availability report numerous times this season, will miss his first game of the season against the No. 1 Buckeyes.
Iamaleava has been much improved since interim offensive coordinator Jerry Neuheisel took over playcalling duties, leading UCLA to three consecutive wins over Penn State, Michigan State and Maryland in October. The Bruins are coming off losses to Indiana and Nebraska.
The first-year transfer from Tennessee has 1,659 passing yards with 12 touchdowns to seven interceptions this season, also rushing for 474 yards with four scores.
Here’s everything to know about Iamaleava’s injury.
