LSU football lost a quarterback. Emile Picarella has left the team, according to a report from Matt Moscona.
“I’ve decided to move on from LSU. I’ll always appreciate my teammates, the old and new staff, and the opportunity I had there. I wish the program nothing but success,” Picarella told Moscona.
With Picarella gone, LSU added a fourth quarterback to the roster — Kaden Martin, the son of LSU assistant coach Tee Martin. Martin was LSU’s fourth transfer QB addition of the year, joining Sam Leavitt, Husan Longstreet, and Landen Clark.
Picarella spent one year at LSU, redshirting and not seeing the field in 2025. Picarella was a hometown recruit and played high school football at University Lab in Baton Rouge.
