Ohio State football updated 2027 recruiting commitment tracker

The transfer portal continues to take on more and more importance in roster construction in college football, but it’s still important to recruit at a high level to set the base talent for a program. Ohio State has been among the best programs when it comes to luring high school talent, and that doesn’t look to be changing anytime soon.
Head coach Ryan Day and staff are putting together the 2027 class after finishing among the best once again in 2026, and we like to keep track of these sorts of things, so we update OSU’s recruiting class as verbal commitments come in — and these days — as decommitments occur as well.
Ohio State looks poised to bring in a top ten class once again, but we’ll see how it all finishes when all those committed players sign their national letters of intent in December. So yeah, there’s still a long way to go before this class is set and loaded, but here’s our Ohio State football 2027 recruiting class tracker updated as things happen
