Colorado football’s recruiting momentum is not slowing down after a strong late-May run. Deion Sanders and his staff have several 2027 targets approaching decisions in June, and the next few weeks could tell even more about how far the Buffs’ national push can go.
Khyren Haywood
Four-star defensive lineman Khyren Haywood is the biggest name on the board right now. The Denton, Texas, standout is set to make his decision June 1, and Colorado is in his top four. Haywood posted 61 tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks as a junior, which makes him one of the more disruptive defenders in the class. Colorado has already hosted him, and the Buffs remain in the race with Kansas State, Arizona and other major programs.
Jaden Baldwin
Four-star receiver Jaden Baldwin is scheduled to announce on June 16. The Arizona target has Colorado in his final four, along with Iowa State, Penn State and Pittsburgh. Baldwin caught 64 passes for 820 yards and six touchdowns as a junior, and would give Colorado another skilled perimeter option and continue the Buffs’ push to build around explosive playmakers.
Marquis Fennell
Three-star athlete Marquis Fennell plans to decide on June 25 after a recent official visit to Boulder. The Georgia playmaker fits the Go-Go offense with his production as both a runner and receiver, and Colorado remains squarely in the mix.
Kylan Bobo
Three-star running back Kylan Bobo rounds out the June watch list, with a July 1 commitment date. The Tupelo, Mississippi, back is considering Colorado, Ole Miss, Minnesota and Memphis. Bobo helped lead his high school to a state title and would add another versatile piece to the offense.
Colorado football has already shown it can win big recruiting battles this spring, and June could bring another wave of good news for Coach Prime’s program. If Sanders can land even one of these targets, the Buffs’ 2027 class will keep looking more and more like a national contender.
