Wisconsin football receives time, TV info for non-conference games

Wisconsin football received time and TV designations for a pair of early-season non-conference bouts Wednesday.
Following its September 6 opener against Notre Dame, Luke Fickell’s program will officially square off against Western Illinois on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 6:15 p.m. CT on Big Ten Network. The following week, UW will face Eastern Michigan at 11:30 a.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 19 live on Peacock.
Both games will take place at Camp Randall before the Badgers embark on their conference schedule, which begins on Sept. 26 vs. Penn State.
Wisconsin opened its 2025 non-conference schedule by going 2-0 against Miami (OH) and Middle Tennessee State by a combined score of 59-10. The Badgers would go on to drop the next six contests to Alabama, Maryland, Michigan, Iowa, Ohio State and Oregon.

Wisconsin last faced off against Western Illinois on Sept. 6, 2014 and secured a 37-3 victory. UW previously lined up across from Eastern Michigan on Sept. 11, 2021, and walked off the field with a 34-7 win.
