Official visits are starting for the Wisconsin Badgers this weekend, with 19 recruits, including 13 commits, heading to campus starting on Friday.

Wisconsin has already gotten a strong start to its 2027 class with a slew of in-state commits, but the next few weeks are where it can truly make its mark in this cycle and finish with a top-25 to top-30 class nationally.

Ahead of official visits starting, though, Wisconsin has been projected to land three of its priority targets who are visiting over the next two weeks.

247Sports’s Nick Osen has placed a crystal ball for the Badgers to land three-star defensive back Royalton Allen and three-star wide receiver Steele Harris ahead of the weekend. Allen, a native of California, received an offer from the Badgers just earlier this month, and the two sides quickly set up an official visit.

While a commitment date is set for July, Wisconsin is currently a top contender alongside BYU and Colorado State for the defensive back. Those two schools are set to get official visits in the following two weeks. Osen isn’t the only reporter placing a crystal ball for Allen, as 247Sports’s Blair Angulo and Jon McNamara have done the same for Wisconsin.

As for Harris, the wideout will be visiting Wisconsin next weekend, and the Badgers have long been contenders for the Montana native.

The three-star recruit noted to Osen that he’s down to two schools: Wisconsin and Cal. He will be visiting the Badgers this weekend, while a visit to Cal is currently scheduled for next weekend, so a decision could be imminent.

McNamara also joined Osen in placing a crystal ball for the Badgers to land Harris.

A third recruit, three-star linebacker Nathan Jones, has been predicted to land with Wisconsin for a couple of weeks now. Heading into official visits, Jones just has one on the docket: Wisconsin. He’s set to visit this weekend, and could be the second linebacker in the class for the Badgers, joining recent commit Keaton Wollan.
