Greater Cincinnati high school football fans can celebrate outgoing seniors in two annual all-star games this week.
The Northern Kentucky senior all-star game is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4, at Dixie Heights. It has been renamed the Tom Potter Football Senior Bowl in honor of the deceased longtime assistant at Newport Central Catholic. Rosters have not been released as of June 1.
Tickets are $8 and can only be paid for with cash at the gate. Proceeds benefit the Northern Kentucky Football Coaches Association. Snappy Tomato Pizza is sponsoring the game.
The Southwest Ohio Football Coaches Association (SWOFCA) and the Miami Valley Football Coaches Association (MVFCA) will play their fourth annual Battle of I-75 All-Star Game.
This year’s game is at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 6, at Xenia High School’s Doug Adams Stadium. Cincinnati holds a 2-1 lead in the current format after a 20-14 win last year.
Proceeds from all ticket sales fund collegiate scholarships awarded to selected students from member schools. Presale tickets are $10, available directly from selected game players. Digital tickets are available on Venmo for $11.
Sponsors are At a Glance Photography, BSN Sports, Ohio Army National Guard, White-Allen Chevrolet, Tully, Contrast Studios, and Vertical Raise Cincy.
Cincinnati’s head coach is Northwest head coach Brandon Schon. Assistants are Withrow’s Koury Johnson, Clark Montessori’s Keilan Woods, Aiken’s Kendall Watson, Lakota East’s Ryan Bagnoli, Mason’s Brandon Mitchell and St. Bernard-Elmwood Place’s Tyler Council.
