The Oklahoma Sooners are on a recruiting roll right now and are using all of the momentum they have.

The Oklahoma Sooners are using all the momentum they gained on Monday and could land another four-star recruit in the 2027 class very soon.

The Sooners just landed one of the players they have been pushing the hardest for. On Monday, Gabriel Osborne, the 2027 four-star cornerback from Mustang, Oklahoma, committed to OU. Osborne was ranked No. 5 among cornerbacks in the 2027 recruiting class and No. 3 overall in the state. Nationally, Osborne sits at No. 29 overall.

Now, Rivals’ National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins is predicting the Sooners to land four-star edge rusher Uhila Wolfgramm, who’s also in the 2027 class. The prediction comes at a 65% confidence rating, and we all know that in this day and age, that may not be high enough.

Wolfgramm is the No. 7 player in Utah and the No. 25 edge rusher in the country. The Sooners won the battle for Wolfgramm over BYU, UCLA, and Michigan. If OU were to land the 6’3, 250-pound edge rusher, it would be yet another huge win by Jim Nagy.

Oklahoma’s defensive line in the 2027 recruiting class will be stacked with Wolfgramm

The Sooners have four-star Taven Epps, who could be an edge rusher or a linebacker; four-star edge rusher Krew Jones; four-star defensive tackle Elija Harmon; three-star Deven Robertson; three-star defensive tackle Sione Felila; and three-star edge rusher Samuel Nelson, all in this class.

That may not seem too crazy, but the class is loaded with talent up and down the board there. And some of the three stars could be starters by the time they’re second- or third-year players. This program doesn’t look at stars; it looks at what the player could be.

The Sooners are on a roll with their recruiting. And, as we have said a million times, Jim Nagy is recruiting better than anyone right now.
