Kicker Josh Turbyville enters his fifth season at Tennessee in 2026. The 6-foot-2, 195-pound redshirt senior appeared in 40 games from 2022-25.
Turbyville has totaled 15,616 kickoff yards on 247 attempts, including 198 touchbacks and nine kicks out of bounds during his collegiate career.
In 2025, he recorded a season-best 5,294 kickoff yards. He totaled 5,228 yards in 2024, 5,029 yards in 2023 and 65 yards on one attempt as a freshman in 2022.
Turbyville also had a season-best 71 touchbacks in 2025 after totaling 68 in 2024, 58 in 2023 and one during the 2023 campaign.
He had six out-of-bounds kickoffs in 2023, two in 2024 and one last season.
Turbyville’s only field goal attempt at Tennessee was against UConn on Nov. 4, 2023. He converted a 33-yard field goal in the Vols’ homecoming victory. Turbyville is also 6-for-6 in extra point attempts, including 3-for-3 in 2025.
He is from Catholic High School in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Tennessee will kick off its 2026 football season Sept. 5 versus Furman at Neyland Stadium. The season opener is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).
