The National Football Foundation announced the 2027 College Football Hall of Fame ballot on Monday. Featured on the list were three former Florida standouts: Alex Brown, Kevin Carter and Percy Harvin.
Fifteen College Football Hall of Fame inductees have come from Florida, including 10 players and five coaches — the most recent enshrinement being Urban Meyer, who was selected as part of the 2025 class. Past recipients include Steve Spurrier, Emmitt Smith and Tim Tebow.
Brown is the all-time leader in career sacks for the Gators with 33 — his 13 sacks in 1999 still stand as the program's single-season record. Carter was an essential piece of Florida's SEC championship-winning team in 1994, a season in which he earned consensus All-American honors.
Harvin's play for the Orange and Blue earned him a reputation as one of the most dynamic players in the history of college football. He helped the Gators win two national championships and two SEC titles during the Urban Meyer era.
