This weekend, Texas A&M hosted several priority prospects in the No. 1-ranked 2027 recruiting class, which included five-star cornerback Joshua Dobson, four-star defensive lineman, and Houston commit Raiden Cook, three-star wide receiver Demani Warren, three-star DL Segun Alexander, and four-star running back and Texas Tech commit, SaRod Baker.
Every player listed, outside of Cook and Baker, has received predictions to land with Texas A&M, while coach Mike Elko and his staff also hosted several 2028 prospects, including the No. 1-ranked defensive lineman in the cycle, five-star Kellan Hall, who made his second trip to College Station for an unofficial visit.
A versatile trench player with experience at right tackle, Hall is an absolute nightmare off the edge, possessing elite athleticism and the physical tools to play guard or full-time on the defensive line at the next level, but according to most recruiting analysts, defense is where his future lies.
Speaking with On3 recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong, Hall raved about his visit, especially his experience at the A&M camp, where he was able to work with new defensive line coach Elijah Robinson and several other rising juniors.
“I was on campus for a few days, so really got the chance to talk to quite a few players and other recruits. However, the highlight was the camp and working with Coach E. Rob, Coach Tony, and Coach Malik. I really like how they are intentional about giving guys work during practice and every player has a coach working with them. I saw this during camp and at practice the day I arrived.”
Hall also confirmed that he will “definitely be back” for a game during the 2026 season, which could come as early as the Aggies’ season-opener vs. Missouri State, or, in Week 2, when Arizona State makes its way to College Station in program history after both teams faced off in a neutral designation back in 2015.
