All it took was one year of playing football before three-star EDGE Achilles Reyna began to land Division-I offers, namely from the Oregon Ducks, LSU Tigers and Texas A&M Aggies among others. And after his official visit in Eugene this past weekend, the class of 2027 product has announced his commitment to Oregon, per Rivals' Brandon Huffman.

Reyna is the Ducks' third commitment of the day, joining wide receiver Malachi Garlington — who flipped from Washington State — and tight end George VanSandt.

Standing 6-foot-8 and 250 pounds, Reyna is a standout player on the hardwood while competing for Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, WA. After just one season on the gridiron, Reyna is rated as a three-star and is the No. 73 defensive lineman and No. 611 player nationally in the 2027 class, per 247Sports Composite.

After three visits to Oregon, he's decided to continue his football career with the Ducks.

“This was my third time going to Eugene and it was the best one so far," Reyna told Huffman. "Down to how all the players interact with each other and us recruits, it really felt like home."

While the standout basketball hooper potentially had a Division-I future on the court, he revealed his NFL dreams and the belief that Oregon will help him realize those goals.

“The culture and the way I’ll be able to develop as a player playing against the best offensive line in the country, iron sharpens iron," he said. "Eugene really felt like home for me and I’m excited to spend my college career there and hopefully make it to the NFL from there because they are a highway to the NFL."

With his commitment, Reyna becomes the 17th commit in the 2027 class for the Ducks, joining four-star Rashad Streets, four-star Zane Rowe and four-star Cameron Pritchett along the defensive line.
