Notre Dame football will have a huge recruiting weekend, and before it has begun, 247Sports expert Tom Loy has put in a crystal ball pick for the Irish to land one of its top remaining targets.

Pennsylvania 2027 edge Abraham Sesay will be on campus this weekend, and the 6-foot, 5-inch and 215-pound defensive lineman could very well shut down his recruitment after the visit. Loy believes that this very well could be the case, even though the nation’s No. 50 overall prospect in the 247Sports Composite still has an official visit set for Florida State next weekend, but that could be cancelled if things go well.

He went in-depth on the pick, saying that Notre Dame’s Name, Image and Likeness offer should be what Sesay is looking for, but it’s much more than that for him. Loy believes that the scheme fit along with the family feel in South Bend is what is really pulling him to play for the Blue and Gold.

Defensive line coach Charlie Partridge has played a big factor in Sesay’s recruitment, as he believes that the development could ultimately land him in the NFL. This would be a huge recruiting win for Notre Dame, as they’d add another elite pass rusher to its roster, bolstering an already strong unit.
