The Wisconsin Badgers have done the unthinkable as they added their ninth commit in the last nine days.
Safety James “Trey” Roberson committed to the Badgers, according to multiple reports.
Roberson becomes the team’s 22nd commitment as Wisconsin maintains its No. 13 overall rank, according to 247Sports.
The three-star safety is a native of Allen, TX, and becomes the teams first class of 2027 commit from the state.
Standing 6-foot, 195-pounds, Roberson joins DJ Davis and Dustin Roach as the team’s incoming safeties.
Overall, Wisconsin’s secondary is absolutely loaded, highlighted by the team’s top recruit, four-star cornerback Mekhi Williams, who they just flipped from Florida State.
