OXFORD — Ole Miss football has climbed even higher in the polls.

Coach Lane Kiffin’s Rebels are ranked No. 6 in the US LBM Coaches Poll released Nov. 16. Ole Miss was No. 7 in the previous poll.

The Rebels (10-1, 6-1 SEC) are coming off a win against Florida (3-7, 2-5). The Rebels won 34-24 in front of a record crowd at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Nov. 15.

The game had implication beyond 2025. Florida has emerged as a contender to land Kiffin in the offseason. The Gators fired Billy Napier on Oct. 19.

Kiffin did not comment about his future when asked whether he intends to coach at Ole Miss in 2026, other than saying he was not thinking about it.
